Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and on-site teams.
You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report concerns, and support a people-first environment through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and common areas, verify authorization where required, and assist with visitor management and/or contractor check-in per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, dispatching assistance, and following post orders.
- Document patrols, incidents, and service requests in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
