As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol-Driver Clearance Required in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor access points and patrol assigned areas to help spot and report security‑related concerns. You will stay highly visible during routine rounds, provide clear communication to site personnel, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and documentation.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials per site procedures, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing guests and deliveries to approved locations.
• Complete routine reports, shift logs, and incident reports; communicate observations and concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership while maintaining confidentiality requirements.

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
