As a Security Officer - Distribution Facility Access in Whitestown, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will be visible throughout your shift, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents, access control activities, and daily events as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Follow post orders and instructions specific to the logistics and distribution location.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver s license will be required for driving positions only.
