Job Details

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct internal investigations, initiate, monitor, and document employee related benefit, disciplinary, and shift scheduling activities with an emphasis on proactive intervention and administrative equality relative to their span of control.
  • Complete all shift‑related reports and documentation prior to the end of their shift.
  • Complete departmental payroll reconciliation’s within established time constraints.
  • Participate in assigned employee evaluation process.
  • Demonstrate a level of professionalism in demeanor, and appearance, which meets or exceeds departmental standards.
  • Ensure that all applicable rules, regulations, internal controls, policies, and procedures of the organization are firmly, fairly, and consistently enforced.
  • Safeguard assets, including patron, employee, and Company property.
  • Perform escort activities consistent with Internal Control Regulations and departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assume a leadership role in guest and employee relations requiring security/supervisory intervention.
  • Audit / complete accident / incident investigation reports which accurately reflect the events, participants, location, and time of events involving patrons, employees, property, and assets of the Company in a concise and professional format.
  • Perform any and all employee evaluations as directed relative to their span of control.
  • Coordinate security activities including applicable notification protocols and referrals with operating managers and directors of external departments when appropriate.
  • Assist the Indiana State Gaming Agents and other Law Enforcement Agencies as.
  • Direct security response to all incidents / situations requiring intervention.
  • Provide consistent examples of professionalism, by act, word, and deed, which demonstrate the application of positive leadership skills.
  • Provide support for the administrative agenda and philosophy of the department and the Company.
  • Ability to perform evacuation procedures for vessel and pavilion.
  • Must have ability to meet tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Engineering and/or Security departments during times of emergency or otherwise, as required of the crew of a Coast Guard certified vessel.
  • Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
  • Responsible for immediately informing on‑site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self‑Reporting Policy.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience

    Required:

    Minimum of three / five years experience in casino security, law enforcement, security operations management, or previous management experience directly relevant to the safety / security management function.
  • Education Required:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent; college level courses in a related field preferred.
  • Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities

    Required:

    Ability to write / print legibly. Read and comprehend printed material with high school proficiency. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with subordinates and upper level management. Documented strong decision making skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and independently. Demonstrated ability to work well within stressful situations and the ability to focus and direct others relative to the assigned span of control.

    Detailed knowledge of company Internal Control Policies and Procedures, Departmental Operating Procedures and / or Indiana State Gaming Commission Regulations. General knowledge of law enforcement applications, and emergency response procedures. Physical ability to provide positive assistance in effecting an arrest. General knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word programs.

    Required:

    Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License – Level
