Security Officer; PRN

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, and staff, while protecting community property. This role is also responsible for verifying the scheduled presence of all employees and third‑party contractors on the grounds.

$18.50 – $22.50 per hour

• Make scheduled rounds inside and outside of the buildings to ensure a secure environment for residents and staff
• Respond promptly to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls
• Complete work in the order of priority set by the supervisor
• Perform light maintenance as time allows, including changing light bulbs, touch‑up painting, and similar tasks
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper working condition
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must possess a valid, active driver’s license in good standing with the state
• Minimum of one year of security experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions carefully and completely
