Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Logistics Screening Lead in Indianapolis, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Your duties include monitoring access points, conducting x‑ray screenings, and assisting with badge verification, while remaining visible throughout your shift and providing exceptional customer service.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and responding to emergency situations.
- Screen individuals, vehicles, and packages entering or exiting the location to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to deter and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor and document activities at access control points, maintaining logs and reports as required.
- Collaborate with site personnel and management to address security concerns specific to the environment.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter incidents and assist employees and visitors as needed.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Access control or badge experience.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
- Customer service experience.
- X‑ray screening experience.
- Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
- Consideration of qualified applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
- Drug screen as permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements per state/local regulations; may be required before employment.
- Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
