As a Security Professional – Access Control Lead in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional specializing in access control for a food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment while providing excellent customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Perform access control duties, verifying identification and authorization for entry to designated areas within the food and beverage location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or activities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding access control procedures and site policies.

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
