Laboratory Assistant
Location: Indianapolis IN
Pay Rate: $20-$23/hr. on W2
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)
OverviewRole Overview: 70% hands-on laboratory work; 30% data analysis and processing
Responsibilities- Perform analytical studies (including GLP certifications) on various materials to support registration and production of active ingredients and formulated crop protection products
- Generate and document data in compliance with GLP regulations, SOPs, best practices, and study protocols
- Process and interpret analytical data; troubleshoot and implement solutions for experimental challenges
- Support daily lab operations: maintain instrumentation and lab areas
- Collaborate closely with the Product Chemistry Laboratory Team and Subject Matter Experts to execute experiments and communicate results on time
- Degree in Chemistry or related science (Associates acceptable, BS strongly preferred; MS may be considered overqualified)
- Chemistry-focused background preferred over Biology
- 2+ years of relevant work experience with analytical chemistry techniques (HPLC, GC, etc.); recent graduates with strong academic lab experience are also encouraged to apply
