Qualifications
- Asbestos inspector license (IDEM Indiana department of environmental management)
- NIOSH 582 for air sampling
- Conducts site assessments such as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments when required.
- Performs asbestos inspections and air monitoring, as well as industrial hygiene evaluations for mold and indoor air quality.
- Primarily serves property management companies, supporting renovation projects or property transitions with environmental surveys and sampling.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously (typically 4–6 at a time), balancing fieldwork and office responsibilities.
- Spends approximately 70% of time in the field collecting samples and performing site inspections, and 30% in the office organizing paperwork, writing reports, and compiling findings.
- Responsible for pulling environmental samples (e.g., for asbestos, mold, air quality), but does not conduct laboratory analysis or perform actual remediation/removal.
- Ensures all documentation is thorough and organized, supporting clear communication with clients and regulatory compliance.
