Automotive Sales Product Specialist

So, you want to sell automobiles that are known for their quality, reliability and beauty but have not had or found anyone willing to put in time and effort to training you? You've come to the right place. We are looking for individuals to train up to sell cars in our dealership. This is a PAID ON THE JOB TRAINING opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Establishing annual and monthly personal income goals and strategies to achieve these goals with their Sales Manager.
  • Gives the Manager a written goal each month, by the 2nd day of the month.
  • Using company approved "Road to the Sale" selling process with every customer. This is defined as:
  • Proper Meet and Greet (checking every guest in with the BDC)
  • Fact Finding (CNA complete)
  • Trade in evaluation
  • Getting the deal approved
  • World class product presentation and demonstration drive
  • Trial close
  • T.O. with a manager
  • Proper Delivery (OnStar, My Rewards and XM)
  • Follow up after the sale (customer, funding)
  • Walking the entire lot at least once a day to stay informed of the status of and changes in inventory levels and selection so that every opportunity is taken to match a vehicle to a customer s needs.
  • Demonstrating and test driving the vehicles that the Manager gives you, 100% of the time before you go over the numbers.
  • The Vehicle Product Specialist is responsible for the proper handling of keys, license plates, obtaining photo copies of drivers licenses, and other procedural items.
  • The Vehicle Product Specialist accompanies the customer on all demonstration rides.
  • Turning over to a Sales manager, F&I Manager, or another Sales Consultant, every customer who is about to leave the store without purchasing.
  • Prospecting for new business both by telephone and through personal efforts outside the dealership. You must make at least two contacts per day.
  • Qualifications

    Ability to speak a second language preferred. One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales skills, great communication, and excellent customer service skills are a must. Organization and thorough follow-up skills are necessary for staying in touch with the client prior to and after the sale. Current valid driver’s license is required for all employees.

    Mathematical skills including, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
