Position: Sales Representative - PD - Indianapolis, IN
Location: Indianapolis

Role Summary

The Sales Representative promotes products through marketing and sales strategies, delivering informative presentations to current and prospective customers. The role involves territory planning, utilizing marketing materials, engaging with healthcare practitioners and hospitals, pharmacies, clinics and retail/wholesaler accounts, and maintaining regular field coverage. Occasional weekend coverage for patient programs may be required, with up to 50% travel and potential overnight travel.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed product sales performance goals within the assigned territory through strategic business planning; manage samples and record transactions in compliance with company policy and PDMA guidelines; craft and deliver comprehensive sales presentations using approved materials; maintain a daily call schedule and ensure territory coverage; maintain accurate territory information.
  • Demonstrate disease state knowledge relevant to promoted products; implement the Amneal selling model and DiSC-based engagement; perform pre/post call analysis; review and analyze sales data and manage budget funds to maximize impact and drive results.
  • Complete administrative reports on time; safeguard company assets (laptop, iPad, vehicle, etc.); enter calls into Veeva System via iPad and respond to emails daily.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Adherence to all company and compliance policies, guidelines and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing or relevant field - Required.
  • Experience:

    1 year or more of successful outside sales experience required; life science industry experience preferred.
  • Experience:

    3 years or more of life science industry sales experience required; specialty pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills:

    Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong understanding of disease states and related treatments; proven track record of success in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; ability to build and maintain professional relationships; self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills; combination of medical knowledge, sales expertise and patient focus.
  • Licenses: US Driver's license - Required upon hire.

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing or relevant field
