Role OverviewWe are seeking an Organic Agronomist / Sales Representative to support and grow our organic specialty crop business in Southern California. This is a sales‑driven role requiring strong organic agronomy expertise and an established network of specialty crop organic growers.
This position spends significant time in the field scouting crops, understanding grower challenges, making agronomic recommendations, and working closely with local dealers to drive sales, product adoption, and logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage relationships with organic specialty crop growers
- Scout fields and provide organic agronomic recommendations
- Drive sales of organic fertilizers, soil amendments, and biological products
- Collaborate with local dealers to support sales execution and logistics
- Identify new business opportunities within the organic specialty crop market
- Serve as a technical resource for growers and dealer teams
- Track market trends, crop needs, and competitive activity
- Represent Wilson Organic Solutions with professionalism and integrity
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Horticulture, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in organic agronomy and/or organic agricultural sales
- Proven experience working with organic specialty crop growers
- Strong understanding of organic production systems
- Sales mindset with relationship‑driven approach
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
- Existing network of organic growers in Southern California
- Experience working with ag dealers or distributors
- Knowledge of organic fertilizers, biologicals, and soil health products
- Familiarity with California organic certification requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
