Join Denodo as a Business Development Representative to help identify and secure new business deals by contacting potential customers in the West region and other territories. You will engage with C‑Level executives, manage leads, and support marketing programs, both online and offline.
Job DescriptionAs a Senior Business Development Representative, you will use excellent communication skills and technical knowledge to engage potential customers, conduct outreach via phone and email, introduce the Denodo product, manage leads, support the sales team, schedule follow‑ups, report issues, and perform research. All data will be entered accurately into our CRM.
Job Responsibilities & Duties- Outreach to people via phone and e‑mail.
- Effectively introduce and represent the Denodo product.
- Accurately process leads, profiles, and appointments.
- Provide support to the sales team.
- Schedule and make follow‑up calls.
- Report issues or concerns to the team leader.
- Perform research.
- Accurately update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software with customer data.
- Min. 5+ years inside sales/business development experience – software sales or high‑tech products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good conversation and people skills via telephone or e‑mail.
- Good foundation to understand and learn IT technologies and enterprise information infrastructure.
- Ability to quickly understand and carry out oral and written directions; tactful and a good listener; respect for discretion and confidentiality.
- Organized, disciplined, and efficient.
- Ability to work independently and multi‑task.
- Experience working with CRM systems and good computer skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and to problem‑solve on the fly.
- Must genuinely care about people and be a team player.
- Energetic and enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with a growing business.
- Nice to have: experience leveraging Employee Advocacy and Social Media to network with industry peers, share thought leadership content, and enhance brand visibility to support sales engagement and relationship building.
