Position Overview
The Strategic Account Manager will play a crucial role in promoting and selling advanced medical products to healthcare professionals, including IVF doctors and OB/GYNs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical sales and a passion for improving women's healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Promotion:
Actively promote and sell the company’s innovative medical device products to healthcare providers within the assigned territory. - Customer Engagement:
Schedule and conduct meetings with potential and existing clients to present product offerings, address their needs, and drive sales. - Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals by providing ongoing support and education about the products. - Product Demonstrations:
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure healthcare providers understand the benefits and proper use of the products. - Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics to effectively position the company’s offerings. - Sales Reporting:
Prepare regular sales reports, territory analyses, and feedback for management.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of medical device sales experience & proven track record of success through awards and achievements.
- Skills:
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals. - Knowledge:
Familiarity with medical terminology, regulations, and the healthcare landscape. - Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
