Job Overview

Part‑time Sales Associate – Allen Edmonds at Sam Edelman (Indianapolis, IN). 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling and uncapped commission opportunities.

• Build relationships and deliver exceptional customer experiences by demonstrating products, emphasizing features and benefits, and resolving customer questions professionally.
• Support store presentation and daily operations, including stock work, visual displays, opening and closing procedures, and merchandise maintenance.
• Maintain a strong customer‑first service atmosphere, consistently meeting strategic business goals while focused on personal development and achievement.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business needs.

• 1‑3 years of retail sales, customer service, or hospitality experience, or comparable brand experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Self‑starter capable of prioritizing and multitasking in a fast‑paced team environment with a customer‑service focus.
• Proficient with general computer use, Microsoft Office, and new proprietary systems.
• Ability to handle point‑of‑sale functions, including register and cash handling.

• Regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Use step stools or ladders of varying sizes to reach inventory in the stock room.
• Walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and lift repeatedly as required.
• Remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
