As Our Sous Chef, You Will

Responsibilities
  • Showcase your expertise in pizza-making, including dough preparation, sauce creation, and pizza assembly, using both traditional and innovative recipes.
  • Lead the pizza section in preparing and baking artisanal pizzas, ensuring the highest standards of quality, flavour, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop unique pizza creations, seasonal specials, and pairing menus that highlight the diversity and creativity of our pizza offerings.
  • Mentor and train kitchen staff in pizza-making techniques, dough stretching, topping combinations, and wood-fired oven operation to maintain the authenticity and excellence of our pizza program.
  • Manage pizza section operations, including ingredient sourcing, inventory control, cost management, and quality assurance, to deliver exceptional pizza experiences to our guests.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pizza-making, focusing on artisanal styles such as Neapolitan, Roman, or gourmet pizzas.
  • Proficiency in dough-making techniques, pizza sauce preparation, and wood-fired oven operation.
  • Strong creativity and innovation in pizza toppings, flavor combinations, and presentation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine passion for pizza-making, a commitment to quality, and a dedication to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
