Culinary and Nutrition Assistant Manager Opportunity

American Village Assisted Living

The Culinary Manager oversees all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high‑quality food preparation, consistent presentation and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. This role combines hands‑on culinary expertise with strong leadership to guide and inspire a talented kitchen team.

Skills Needed
  • Leadership:
    Lead and motivate others to follow proper safety, health, sanitation and food preparation with a focus on cooking, plating and service for our residents.
  • Teamwork:
    Work toward a common goal of excellent care and food service for our residents.
  • Experience:

    Proven experience in leadership, hiring, training, evaluating and scheduling kitchen staff.
  • Supportive Presence:
    Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience as Culinary Manager.
  • Certification in a Dietary Manager Course or associate’s degree in culinary/hospitality management.
  • Must have current and valid Serv Safe Manager’s Food Safety Certificate.
