Next Gen Hospitality Solutions is excited to announce an opening for a Sous Chef at our upscale casual dining establishment in Indianapolis. This full-time, on-site position presents a fantastic opportunity for culinary enthusiasts who are eager to advance their careers in the vibrant hospitality industry.

As a Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen, assisting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be involved in menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu
  • Ensure food presentation meets our restaurant standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items
Requirements
  • Passion for cooking and a strong desire to learn
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not required
  • Basic understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • A culinary degree or certification is preferred but not mandatory
