Non-Certified Staff - Kitchen Helper

Location:

Corydon, IN

Part time, No Benefits except prorated days. Working 5.5 hours a day, 27.5 hours a week. Days worked will follow school calendar. Starting pay is $18.79 an hour.

All employees must complete a nationwide criminal history check upon hire.

• High School Diploma preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Food Preparation
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

• Assist in the preparation of food for school lunch program.
• Serve students and staff.
• Remove used dishes and assist in the cleaning of counters, tables, dishes, and furnishings in the dining and kitchen area.
• Maintain the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion.
• Assist the cafeteria manager with checking inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
• Assist the cafeteria manager in meeting all state and federal regulations pertaining to the school lunch program.
• Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or cafeteria manager.
