Bar Staff – Hard Truth Bar, Bottleworks Garage Food Hall

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our bar staff at the Hard Truth Bar. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service, crafting delicious cocktails, and promoting our range of Hard Truth spirits and Quaff On! beers.

• Prepare a wide range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, including beers and specialty drinks, with precision and consistency.
• Customer Service
  • Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Engage with patrons to understand preferences and make personalized drink recommendations.
  • Ensure timely and attentive service, addressing customer needs professionally.
• Menu Knowledge
  • Understand the beverage menu, ingredients, flavor profiles, and pairings.
  • Communicate menu options and provide explanations to customers.
• Order Management
  • Take accurate drink orders and ensure clarity.
  • Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality.
• Beverage Preparation
  • Follow standardized recipes and techniques.
  • Garnish and present beverages with attention to detail.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, sanitize utensils and glassware.
  • Regularly clean and restock the bar.
• Compliance
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to alcohol service, including age verification and responsible serving practices.
• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen to coordinate food and drink orders for optimal pairing and timing.
• Upselling and Sales
  • Recommend premium or specialty beverages to customers to increase sales.

• 21+ years of age.
• Possession or ability to obtain an Alcohol Serving permit through the State of Indiana.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive and approachable demeanor.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and relevant legal regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
