Bartender

We’re looking for a bartender at PENN Entertainment that delivers exceptional customer service, manages bar operations, and upholds a fast‑paced entertainment environment.

• Provide wine, liquor, and related bar service to guests and cocktail servers at assigned stations.
• Mix drinks according to prescribed recipes.
• Keep station stocked with all liquor, glasses, and accessories necessary.
• Maintain integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated area.
• Ice and fill all non‑alcoholic drinks for servers.
• Provide work direction to assigned bar attendants.
• Open and close the bar according to established procedures.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer, credit charges, and servers’ food transactions, including tips.
• Resolve service issues according to established guidelines.
• Assist with inventory and inventory control.
• Complete assigned opening and closing side work.
• Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co‑worker.
• Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a bartender in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent and literate in English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Cash handling experience.
• Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.
• High energy and proactive, strategic approach to dealing with issues.
• Effective work independently and as part of a team.
• Work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail and poise when receiving multiple guest requests.
• Collaborative and effective communication with team members at all levels.
• Efficient movement around bar area.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
