Sb. Laboratory Technician

$45-$50/hour on W2

12+ Months (Possible Extension)

• Manage routine maintenance, cleaning, performance verification, and troubleshooting for instrument systems including LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, pipettes, evaporators, sample prep equipment, etc.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and upgrades with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support major LC-MS/MS software upgrade project for Windows 11 compliance (scheduling, execution, validation with partners).
• Order supplies, prepare mobile phases, perform lab support tasks (equipment validation, computer systems validation, batch setup/execution).
• Comply with GLP standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Additional tasks as needed: standard/solution prep, catalog/GLP documentation for chemicals.

• Associate Degree in a science-related field (BS preferred; MS acceptable; PhD likely overqualified).
• General knowledge of mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and associated software.
• Proven ability to handle routine instrument upkeep/maintenance in a fast-paced, regulated, time-sensitive lab environment.
• Hands-on analytical lab experience highly desired.
