The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Quality Manager to join our team  this critical role, you will lead and manage our Quality Control & Assurance team within a precision manufacturing environment serving the aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries. You will help ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards before they are delivered to our customers. You will have the opportunity to influence key aspects of the production process, drive continuous improvement, and help maintain a culture of safety and excellence.

Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping the team’s performance, streamlining inspection processes, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external quality requirements. Key Responsibilities
  • Support OnePWR philosophy and engage with global quality team.
  • Ensure the compliance of PWR’s Quality and Environmental Management System to AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, regulatory, and legal standards and legislation.
  • Supervise and coordinate personnel engaged in inspecting incoming components, first off machined components, manufacturing fixtures and complete assemblies.
  • Set tasks and establish priorities to ensure maximum efficiency of available resources.
  • Interpret and guide PWR personnel in relation to quality standards and documents.
  • Conduct training of personnel.
  • Review and approve personnel timesheets.
  • Conduct personnel performance reviews.
  • Support NADCAP certification for heat treatment and chemical processing and liaise with liaise with third party auditors and consultants as required.
  • Assist with certification and customer audits.
  • Maintain safe work practices and handle dangerous chemicals responsibly.
  • Oversee internal and external complaints and respond in a timely manner.
  • Keep aware of Quality changes that may impact PWR.
  • Cross functionally support Managers and Supervisors to instill quality principles.
