Eggplant Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• The automation engineer is responsible for performing functional and automated testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Involved in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
• Responsible for defect reporting and tracking, and collaborating with other team members to ensure the software meets business needs.
• Execute scoping, planning, and scheduling of testing activities.
• Develop and document manual and automated test scripts to effectively test new and existing functionality.
• Create detailed test plans, including test scenarios, test steps, and expected results for all functional requirements of the functionals under test.
• Work closely with other Quality Assurance testers to ensure quality products with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with offshore and onshore team members.
• Participate in an experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile delivery schedule.
• Design test cases and test scenarios to ensure both new and previous features.
• Execute test cases to ensure business scenario coverage, including both direct and regression impacts.

• Years of manual testing experience.
• Years of automated testing experience with Selenium and Eggplant.
• Proven experience testing POS/Web based applications.
• Exposure to Service Now.
• End-to-end testing experience.
• Experience collaborating with an offshore team.
• A bachelor's degree in a field such as Math, Science, or Computer Science or equivalent field preferred.
