The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for technical and business analysis of software solutions delivered by software engineers. The Technical Business Analyst defines requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and the quantification of potential business benefits. The Technical Business Analyst also plays a role in ensuring software quality, process modeling, providing advice and guidance and monitoring emerging technologies.
AutonomyWorks under general direction. Uses discretion in identifying and responding to complex issues and assignments. Usually receives specific instructions and has work reviewed at frequent milestones. Determines when issues should be escalated to a higher level.

ResponsibilitiesPrint Template Development
Create, edit and maintain print templates used for letters to Clients, users and government agencies.
Facilitate existing Doc Form systems to create print templates based on letter designs submitted by Clients, Business Analysts and Product Owners.
Build and maintain backing of templates using C#.Net and SQL.
Review, adjust, and prepare templates for print, ensuring all designs meet technical specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to resolve file issues, provide guidance on layout adjustments, and suggest improvements for optimal printing results.
Make minor adjustments to layouts as needed to meet printing requirements while maintaining the integrity of the original design.
Requirements AnalysisWorks with the business analysts to capture requirements using various techniques such as data analysis and business workflow analysis.
Combines all business requirements into a clear, managed, prioritized backlog (Agile).
Creates use cases, user stories, functional specifications, diagrams and technical documentation as needed to articulate requirements.
Software QualityWorks with business analysts in defining acceptance criteria and coordinating acceptance tests and issue resolution.
Performs user acceptance, A/B and other types of tests to determine completeness of requirements.
Verify the quality of templates, ensuring quality standards are met.
Process ModelingDiscovers and documents current business processes using process modeling techniques.
