Turn up the flavor this fall with a career where your cooking makes a difference. Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne is hiring Cooks to join our dietary team. From preparing nourishing meals to serving comforting dishes, you’ll help create dining experiences that support healing, wellness, and community for residents in our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation center.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals that follow resident care plans and dietary guidelines

Maintain safe food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas

Assist with meal planning, portion control, and inventory management

Collaborate with the dietary team on seasonal menus, special events, and resident requests

Present meals attractively, on time, and with consistent quality

Help foster a positive, home-like dining environment for residents and their families

Qualifications

Prior cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or food service preferred

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe handling practices

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining quality

Dependable, resident‑focused, and team‑oriented personality

Strong communication skills
