Are you a skilled Programme Planner with experience in MSP looking to make a difference in the water utilities sector? Cappagh Contractors is recruiting for our Lot A Infrastructure & Lot B Smart Metering delivery on the Portsmouth Water AMP8 framework.

• Develop, maintain, and track detailed programme plans, ensuring all smart metering activities are scheduled efficiently and safely.
• Utilise MSP methodologies to manage risk, dependencies, resource allocation, and critical milestones within the programme.
• Use data analysis and reporting tools to monitor progress, forecast challenges, and enable decision-making.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with quality and customer expectations.
• Conduct regular reviews of programme logistics, safety procedures, and performance against KPIs.
• Proactively identify and manage programme risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Communicate effectively with project management and key stakeholders to provide accurate updates and insights.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus, and operational excellence.

• Practical experience in programme planning within utility, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) principles and tools.
• Proven track record of delivering programmes with a focus on safety, logistics, and quality.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant qualifications in project/programme management, engineering, or related disciplines.
