As a Hurshtown Attendant, you’re the face of the reservoir. You help create a welcoming, safe, and organized experience for guests while keeping daily operations moving—from rentals and fees to facility readiness.

• Open and close the facility, manage the cash box, collect fees, and balance daily revenue
• Rent boats, kayaks, life jackets, and equipment; prepare, clean, and stage items for use
• Maintain attendance logs, revenue records, and seasonal pass sales
• Support recreation programs and attend program‑related meetings
• Keep the facility clean and guest‑ready, including light grounds work and general upkeep

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable working independently while following established policies and safety procedures

• First Aid and CPR Certification (required or obtained shortly after hire)
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License (if operating a City vehicle)

• Basic math skills for handling cash, balancing records, and processing fees
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, procedures, and operating instructions
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
