Veterinary Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries.
  • Safely restrain animals during treatments and diagnostics.
  • Educate pet owners on proper care, medications, and aftercare instructions.
  • Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and materials for appointments.
  • Perform basic lab tasks, including processing in-house diagnostic tests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hospital.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Veterinary assistant experience is a plus but not required—we’re happy to train motivated individuals!
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for helping animals.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment.
