Starting rate of pay: $17 per hour and could increase based on previous work experience and any certifications/licenses you hold.

• Valid Driver's License:
  Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Chauffeur’s/For Hire Endorsement: A For Hire endorsement or chauffeur’s license is preferred.

• Provide landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties.
• Safely operate commercial-grade landscaping equipment and ensure upkeep of plant material and other landscape elements.
• Prepare landscape trucks for the day, including loading gas cans, mowers, and other equipment onto trucks/trailers; secure all equipment onto trucks/trailers.
• Maintain and correctly use issued personal protective equipment.
• Safely operate vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws.
• Perform maintenance on properties including mowing turf, edging, blowing leaves, pruning shrubs and trees, pulling weeds, and cleaning sites.
• Plantings and flower installation: prep soil, plant material, apply mulch, water, edge beds, and establish bed edges.
• Perform equipment maintenance: unload, wash, change blades and oil, clean air filters, grease machines, and conduct EDVIR on assigned vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Safely perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of landscaping equipment and materials; operate hand and power equipment and tools.
• Be able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds; walk up to 10 miles a day on varied terrain; work in extreme conditions and direct sunlight; and work hours may exceed 12 hours per day.

• Valid Driver’s license.
• Some experience in lawn care is helpful.
• Ability to operate lawn care machinery (mowers, edgers, backpack blowers) and various vehicles, with or without trailers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit) and direct sunlight.
