CRNA Job Details – Indiana Healthcare Opportunity

Locum tenens

PRN Dates:  Aug 17-21, 24-30, Sept 14-18, Oct 19-25, Nov 9-22, Dec 7-13. Future dates TBD

Shifts per Week:  5

Shift Duration:  8-hour days (7am–3pm). 2 weeks on/2 weeks off

Call

Schedule:

3pm–7am; OR call every night and weekend

Hours per Week:  36

Practice Model:  All CRNA practice (no anesthesiologist supervision)

Charting System:  Medaxion

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Qualifications

Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license in Indiana or compact state

Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA experience in general anesthesia

Proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and regional anesthesia blocks

Current certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS (AHA required). Enrolled in the IN PCF. Must be NBCRNA certified

Clear background and malpractice history for healthcare credentialing

CRNA Responsibilities – General Anesthesia

Deliver anesthesia care for General, Orthopedic, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, GYN, Podiatry, heavy Endo. No OB

Perform spinals, epidurals, and regional anesthesia blocks

Participate in call coverage (average 2.5 call backs per month)

Assist with difficult intubations in the ER as needed

Maintain accurate documentation using the Medaxion charting system

Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team in an all-CRNA environment
