Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities- Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-operative patients.
- Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
- Prepare equipment and aid the physician during examination and treatment of patients.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures.
- Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physicians.
