Overview

Forum at the Crossing – Director of Nursing (DON) opportunity with Tutera Senior Living & Health Care. WE WANT YOU to lead nursing services, empower your team, and advance resident care in a culture of learning.

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care supports nurse leaders by providing a DON mentorship program, tuition reimbursement to support clinical expertise and leadership development, a network of professionals to assist you, and a comprehensive DON orientation program including welcome gifts, in-person training with the Regional Nurse, and virtual leadership training with CEU opportunities by senior nurse management.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Director of Nursing (RN), you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physicians’ orders and the residents’ total needs. You will supervise Nursing Services on a 24-hour basis and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.

  • A passion for working with seniors

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where you practice
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
  • Prior experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings is required
  • Two years of nurse supervisory experience required
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
