Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday Rotating 7:00am - 4:00pm
A qualified anesthesia professional involved in the administration of anesthesia and related services as delineated by the clinical and nonclinical responsibilities described herein.
Requirements Knowledge & Experience Skills-- Demonstrates current competency in the clinical responsibilities for which the candidate is applying.
- Demonstrates ability to give and follow instructions accurately.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills necessary to interact with various levels of health care personnel.
- Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Indiana, and complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning advanced practice registered nursing.
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
- Is currently certified by the Council On Certification of Nurses Anesthetists or its predecessor.
- Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution or state.
- Extensive exposure to confidential information or matters.
- Frequent contact with various persons or groups within and outside of the hospital including employees, department managers, physicians, patients, visitors and outside agency.
- Must be able to work with and communicate with different types of people.
- Must be able to prioritize, utilize critical thinking, and adjust to change.
- Must be able to reason and use logical problem-solving skills.
- Performs duties that require some latitude for independent judgment and initiative in handling situations out of the ordinary.
- Must be self-directed, flexible and willing to assume additional responsibilities as needed.

- Documenting/recording information – entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
- Coordinates and works with coworkers to accomplish task as needed or directed.

- Participates in call rotation schedule as assigned.
- Reports to the Surgical Services Manager.
- Reports to the designated charge nurse.
