Role Details

Methodist Advanced Heart Care Unit (5E) is hiring for .9 FTE RNs on night shift. 5E is a cardiac progressive care unit that specializes in the care of patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary HTN, cardiac arrhythmias, congenital heart defects, infective endocarditis, post-CABG care, LVAD workup, heart transplant workup, post procedural care for cardiac cath lab, valve replacement and repair.

Compensation and Differentials

This position currently qualifies for a NEW hourly wage differential in addition to standard shift, holiday differentials and a relocation bonus. More details about these differentials will be provided during the interview process.

Qualifications
  • Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN);
    Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Exceptions:
    Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
