Job OverviewThe Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.
Responsibilities- Develop and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.
- Connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs.
- Cooperate closely with the care team to support residents holistically.
- Balance daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity preparation.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values:
Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence. - High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience/training.
- Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State.
