Responsibilities
  • Serve as UNCF's brand ambassador in Indiana, leading the Indianapolis office and overseeing staff while driving new unrestricted revenue from corporations, individuals, foundations, and community partners to support its 37 member institutions.
  • Set and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivate and steward major donors, manage a prospect portfolio, and secure multi‑year commitments through direct solicitation and volunteer leadership engagement.
  • Oversee staff performance and development, ensure accurate donor records and reporting, and collaborate with finance to maintain data integrity and accountability.
Qualifications
  • At least a bachelor's degree and seven or more years of fundraising experience, including demonstrated success in marketing or public relations and securing major gifts from corporations, foundations, and high‑net‑worth donors.
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, organizational and management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge or Donor Perfect.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range $90,000 to $105,000.
