About Us:Pleasant Chapel Community Church is a vibrant, nondenominational church dedicated to spiritual growth, community outreach, and living out the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Job Summary:We are seeking a leader to serve in areas including discipleship, outreach, music ministry, Sunday worship coordination, pastoral care, and supporting various ministries. The ideal candidate will have a heart for ministry, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to our church’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:- Discipleship: Teach and lead groups to fulfill the Great Commission of "go and make disciples of Jesus Christ."
- Sunday Worship Service: Assist in leading services when the lead pastor is absent; coordinate sermon topics, music, scripture, children’s messages, videos, and special performances; develop worship series; select music and performers; lead congregational singing.
- Children and Youth: Develop and implement biblical educational programming for children and youth.
- Young Adults, Adults, and Families: Lead study groups such as Sunday School, mid-week meetings, and family learning sessions.
- Outreach Coordination: Lead efforts to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the community locally and globally, including:
- Leading the GO175 Team to organize social and service activities.
- Leading the Connections Team to welcome new attenders and help them integrate into the church community.
- Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to Christian values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic pastoral approach.
- Agreement with the church’s beliefs as outlined in Articles 1-4 of the Bylaws; ability to teach, preach, and act in accordance with these beliefs.
