The Digital Content Specialist contributes to brand awareness and audience engagement by producing multimedia storytelling content for digital channels, including web and social media. This position works collaboratively with a team of eight marketing and communications professionals and works extensively with faculty, students, and campus partners.
The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for producing, publishing, and editing engaging content across the College website and social media channels to support institutional priorities and enhance the College’s online presence. This role creates and curates multimedia assets—including video, photography, and graphic design elements—to complement written content and strengthen digital storytelling. The Specialist supports the execution of Admission marketing strategies, including pre-college programs and camps, by helping manage the promotional calendar and developing Admission-focused web and social media content that advances enrollment goals.
The position also supports the implementation of social media marketing initiatives and paid advertising campaigns, ensuring content is timely, strategic, and aligned with campaign objectives. Working collaboratively with Marketing Communications colleagues and campus partners, the Digital Content Specialist coordinates and executes marketing and communications projects and campaigns. This role monitors and analyzes the performance of digital and social media content, contributes to quarterly and annual metrics reporting, and applies insights to improve engagement and effectiveness.
The Specialist ensures all digital communications adhere to College and campaign brand standards, maintaining consistency, quality, and professionalism across all platforms.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- One to three years of experience in marketing communications roles.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with design, photo editing, and video editing tools.
- Experience producing social media content for Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and Tik Tok.
- Experience with Drupal and/or other web content management systems.
- Experience using social media management platforms such as Sprout Social is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of constituents, including faculty, staff, students, alumnae, donors, and vendors.
