Job Summary As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the food service operation with marketing promotions, merchandising, social media and student engagement programs to contribute to guest satisfaction and driving revenue s position requires a creative individual with knowledge of Generation Z and Centennial marketing tactics to drive engagement with the campus dining program. This position reports to the campus marketing manager or director of dining services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities
  • Supports sales growth tactics, including voluntary meal plans, retail, and catering
  • Leads planning, organizing and hosting of promotions and events, including national brand and vendor promotions
  • Acts as a brand representative to guests, promoting various products and services
  • Assists in the execution of guest feedback and market research programs
  • Ensures quality and timely web content and implements social media strategies to drive followers and engagement
  • Develops client and external communications assets, including reports, presentations, and news
  • Other responsibilities as assigned, including supporting operations with evening or weekend shifts as needed in the business
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, or business, or equivalent of two years of related on-the-job experience
  • Strong organizational, time management and both verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Ability to present to large groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
    PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with social media tactics to increase brand awareness
  • Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
