Primary Purpose of Role:
The Supervisor, Global Supply Chain is responsible for supervising a medium to large group of employees involved in supply chain operations. The Supervisor, Global Supply Chain utilizes Lean Materials Management techniques to continuously improve processes and day-to-day duties.

* Key Responsibilities:

** Coordinate material and production mix requirements to meet production schedules. Execute quality requirements. Utilize quality tools and techniques when necessary.

All other duties assigned.

* Qualifications:

** Associate Degree and/or equivalent experience.
*
* Experience:

** Zero to minimal supervisory experience.  1+ years’ prior supervisory experience.

Experience in a warehousing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing environment.  Competencies and Behaviors:

Ability to positively influence and motivate direct employees/team members.  Oral and written communication skills.

Analytical ability for solving complex problems.

Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees and elicit work output. Ability to adapt to changes in responsibility based on business needs.

Knowledge of pull systems / Kanban. Knowledge / experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Knowledge of scheduling and inventory control systems and processes. Supervises a group that typically consists of support level or production team with similar or varied skills, decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager or senior supervisors,
