Summary:
The Engineering Intern will support manufacturing and process engineering activities within a fast‑paced production environment. This role is hands‑on and data‑driven, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively on the production floor. The intern will collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives across multiple production lines.
Whatyou will learn:
- Real manufacturing data collection and using that data to guide your actions to improve tasks on the production lines. Will work with engineering and contractors to create structured plans to minimize negative impacts of projects that effect multiple departments in the facility.
- Learn about the process of taking a product from raw chemicals and empty componentry to full scale production
- Receive mentorship and guidance from engineering and maintenance team
- The intern will use lean tools to identify losses on the production lines and work with engineering, maintenance, and production to eliminate those losses.
- Must be a full‑time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Minimum of a 3.0 or above GPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Hands‑on and creative problem‑solving skills
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
- Eagerness to learn from others and hands on experiences
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with flexibility
- Ability to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period
