Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and detail‑oriented Permanent Growout Supervisor to join our team within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in poultry experience, particularly in overseeing the growth and development of poultry. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a role that combines management with hands‑on work and requires a deep understanding of processing plant operations and testing procedures.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the poultry growout department to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to established procedures and standards.
  • Implementing and monitoring testing procedures to maintain the health and quality of the poultry stock.
  • Coordinating with other department supervisors to ensure smooth operations across the entire processing plant.
  • Training and supervising staff, providing feedback and guidance to improve performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining accurate records of operations and testing results.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may impact the growth and development of the poultry stock.
  • Continually assessing and improving processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with the management team to set goals, plan for growth, and evaluate performance.
  • Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a poultry processing plant.
    • Proven experience with testing procedures and quality control in a poultry environment.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
    • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
    • A deep understanding of poultry growth and development processes.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
    • Proficiency in using computer systems for record keeping and reporting.
    • A degree in a related field would be advantageous but is not essential.
