We are seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd Shift at our New Haven, IN facility. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves managing the daily production activities to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising production staff, organizing production schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and identifying opportunities to improve processes. The supervisor will play an important role in advancing our continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives
, ensuring production runs efficiently and consistently meets customer requirements. A key part of this role includes supporting our lights-out production initiative
; therefore, experience with running unmanned machines into the late-night hours is strongly preferred.
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including the ability to lead, develop, and oversee production teams effectively
- Supervisory experience in a union environment (required)
- Proven success in continuous improvement and process improvement
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Technical aptitude; prior experience with machining or automated systems (preferred)
- Ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Excellent Communication skills to facilitate team coordination and collaboration across departments
- Solid understanding of Production Management principles to maintain operational efficiency and implement process improvements
