The hourly wage range for this role is $20.55 – $27.00 per hour

Job Description- Conducting quality checks – metal detectors, Xray Machines, Moisture Samples
- Troubleshooting problems with equipment and products.
- Communication with employees when conducting changeovers, line issues etc.
- Learning the process of start-up and shut down
- Adaptability – Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment.
- Read/understand daily production schedule at the start of every shift.
- Understand the basic functions of the scaling units to ensure they are working properly.
- Responsible for upholding the KHMS standards detailed in the plant's KHMS training program.
- HAACP/Weight control certified.
- Self-starter
- Multitask driven
- Strong communication skills
- Use simple mathematics and computer skills
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Able to work in areas that contain dust and starch particles.
- Able to work in hot and humid conditions.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or food processing, quality standards, hygiene, work safety, etc. preferred.
- Attention to details when conducting quality checks.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Ability to use hands/arms to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Ability to work in all areas of the facility including hot and cold areas and be exposed to wet and humid conditions.
- Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs. or more.
- Must have excellent vision, distant and peripheral, with the ability to identify and distinguish colors, and adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually high, and ear protection is required.
- May work near moving mechanical parts, high and/or confining places.
- Employing 280 employees across 3 shifts.
- Purchased in 1934 from Breyer’s Ice Cream and began producing caramel in 1935.
- Began producing Marshmallows and Marshmallow Crème in 1961 and Marbits (think dehydrated marshmallows found in cereal) in 1979.
