Location: Indianapolis

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for leading plant operations across production, safety, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement. The Plant Manager will ensure the facility operates efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company performance goals.

This is a hands‑on leadership position suited for someone with strong operational experience in a process‑driven manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day plant activities while building a strong, safety‑focused culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, safety, quality, and logistics.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor plant performance using key metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.
  • Lead, mentor, and support supervisors and plant personnel.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Support operational improvements, process optimization, and facility growth initiatives.
  • Maintain accountability for plant performance, including financial and operational results.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 5+ years of plant or operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading teams in a production setting.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles such as Lean or similar methodologies.
  • Understanding of industrial safety practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools).
