BHS Corrugated North America is expanding our Digital Print Service team and is looking for a hands‑on Electrical Technician with strong industrial troubleshooting experience.
This position supports advanced digital printing systems integrated into high‑speed corrugated manufacturing equipment. The right candidate will have a solid background in industrial electrical systems and practical PLC troubleshooting experience within a production environment.
Following initial training, this is a field‑based role requiring extensive travel across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
What You’ll Be Responsible For- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on automated manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshooting PLC‑controlled systems in live production environments
- Working with motors, drives, and servo‑based motion systems
- Supporting equipment startups, commissioning, and system integration
- Performing preventative maintenance and electrical audits
- Reviewing schematics and control drawings to isolate root causes
- Communicating directly with plant maintenance and production personnel
- Documenting service findings and completing technical reports
- Managing travel logistics to support customer facilities
- Experience as an Industrial Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Technician in manufacturing
- Hands‑on experience troubleshooting PLC‑driven equipment
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and control diagrams
- Knowledge of 480V industrial systems, drives, and automation components
- Comfortable working independently in fast‑paced production facilities
- Willingness to travel extensively after training
- Corrugated, packaging, printing, or high‑speed manufacturing background
- Exposure to automation, motion control, or process systems
- Field service or commissioning experience
- Ability to support minor PLC logic adjustments
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Climb ladders and navigate industrial machinery
- Lift up to 30 pounds
- Work in hot, cold, elevated, or confined areas as required
