Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Perform complex setups on various CNC machines, including multi-axis mills and lathes, using vises, fixtures, and chucks independently.
- Download, edit, and optimize existing G-code and M-code programs to meet part specifications and improve process efficiency.
- Conduct in-process and first-run inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, tooling issues, and programming discrepancies to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Guide and mentor junior operators on machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting techniques to foster team development.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 4-6 years of direct CNC machine experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of G & M codes, tooling, geometrics, cutting speeds, and feed rates for various materials.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address production issues effectively.
- Advanced computer literacy, including experience with manufacturing software (ERP, CAM systems) and machine control interfaces.
