Press Brake Operator

PRESS BRAKE OPERATORS – Monday through Friday- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm – hourly pay rate $25.00

Operates and maintains press brake machines to bend sheet metal into desired shapes and sizes. Plays a crucial role in manufacturing and metal fabrication by shaping metal components with precision.

Operating press brake machines: Setting up and adjusting the machine according to production schedules and specifications.

Material handling: Ensuring sufficient raw materials are available and preparing materials for bending, including measuring and aligning them.

Quality control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Machine maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on the press brake to keep it in good working condition.

Safety: Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Automation: Utilizing automation systems, including machine programming, to improve production efficiency.

Problem-solving: Troubleshooting issues that may arise during operation and making necessary adjustments.

• Blueprint reading: Understanding and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude: Understanding of machine operations and mechanics.
• Precision and accuracy: The ability to perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during operation.
• Safety awareness: Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Knowledge of press brake operations: Understanding of different types of press brakes, tools, and techniques.
