Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Press Cell Production / Extrusion Support team member to join their team.
Job Title: Extrusion Support Shift: 1st (7 am-4pm Monday through Friday) - Mandatory overtime as needed Location: Indianapolis, IN Pay Range: $18 What's the Job?- Operate machinery safely and efficiently to meet production goals
- Inspect aluminum parts for quality, hardness, and temper
- Package and load materials according to customer specifications
- Set up and run cutting and deburring equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and keep work area clean (5S)
- Document production data and follow standard procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with team members and provide support to other departments as needed
- Provide support to the Extrusion department through packing, trailer loading, material handling and aging. Provide support to the press cell when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent degree.
- Punctual attendance record
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to recognize safety concerns and utilize proper inspection equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
